The “Selfie”
This 5.0 megapixel point & shoot was my first digital camera. It became much easier to start ‘wasting’ shots when I put the 35mm away. One of the first things to come along with the convenience and limitless amounts of frames to shoot was narcissist tendencies. Once you’ve shot everything else around you; you start shooting yourself.
The Keele Wall arial
I got a drone.
I didn’t buy a camera that wasn’t in a phone until I got a drone. This is an arial still from one of my shoots documenting the story about theHumble Servants of Art aka the Keele Wall story. It’s part of a documentary on Graffiti as a genre of art, and its cultural impact on art & culture post “Style Wars”. I’ve been documenting the art and artists associated with this wall for over 25 years. The Keele Wall was demolished in Winter of 2022. The pieces on the wall were curated by some of the most elite graffiti writers after the original influx of graffiti in NYC.
